Implementation notes
Know what changed before you download it again.
A new release doesn't make every old file obsolete. Cloudflare Hotload records file locations, sizes and SHA-256 hashes in a versioned manifest so a client can check its cache and retrieve changed assets.
R2 and your Cloudflare domain handle delivery. The CLI and JavaScript client provide a working pattern; your application owns installation and activation. That leaves room for your own checks before new code, configuration or model assets take effect.
- Deliver versioned assets through your own R2-backed setup.
- Keep unchanged files cached when their checks still match.
- Verify retrieved content before the application activates it.

Core Mail connects a local app to Cloudflare Email Routing and Email Service. Incoming messages and outgoing replies stay in the conversation history, with desktop search, reply-all and inbox cleanup.
Use the public source to understand the setup and its boundaries. For an existing build, the tools page provides the current platform downloads. The code remains separate from any optional setup or integration service.
