Shared work doesn’t require a shared cursor.

Core’s operating-system model is designed for a person and an agent to work simultaneously. Separate workspaces keep their activity distinct; shared context lets them coordinate where a decision or handoff needs both.

Rubian’s persistent users and agent VMOS provide a machine-facing counterpart to that idea. Kestowv addresses the execution and resource coordination beneath it. Valux is the consumer OS project for a single PC or home cluster, with selected Core work intended to contribute to its final interface. Arcturus applies the same integrated OS concept to enterprise and data-center environments.

Know what you’re looking at

Every work object should explain what it is, why it matters, what supports it, and what it’s waiting on. You shouldn’t have to reconstruct the state from five systems and a conversation.

Make the important action obvious

Keep it. Change it. Approve it. Publish it. Follow up. Measure again. A capable interface makes the important action obvious while preserving the context needed to make the action responsibly.

The interface reaches the systems underneath

The product direction connects research, customer state, publishing, communication, review, and measurement. We’re building the surface around that work so people can see what supports an action and stay in control. Those operational connections remain part of the build.

The same arrangement doesn't fit every job.

Comparing two estimates isn't the same task as reviewing an inbox or checking an approval. The useful information, the next action and the amount of detail you need all change.

Core's programmable surface is being built around that difference. AI can help shape how a task is presented, while the operator keeps the ability to inspect, change and direct it. The interface should follow the work instead of making the work follow a fixed menu.
